I was re-reading Nightmares and Dreamscapes the other day and realised I had completed skipped over The Night Flier so decided to give it a go. Found it hard to get into but that ending in the bathroom scared the crap outta me! Just had to get this. This movie version is everything the story was and so much more! Great choice of actor for Richard Dees! Suspensful, gory in parts and that suprise twist at the end - fantastic!!! 10/10 and deffo one of the best Stephen King adaptions I have seen. In my opinion, this movie is hillarious as a concept, and creepy enough for teens. Just enough funny truth to it. (Fixed Base Operations can be eerily quiet and night; and SkyMaster pilots are the most errogant and wreckless--almost like they think they're immortal or something!) It wouldn't give me nightmares, but there are a few scenes that would allow for a spilled drink or popcorn. :o) Bravo! |
