The Kidz took me ,to see this near the place of [artist] Glenn Chadbourne in the Lincoln Theater in Damirscotta Maine. I was almost in tears when I saw how VERY much, Kathy Bates was made to resemble my own Nanna Bowman, as my childhood recollection. And let that be a lesson to those who mis-behave. Awsome movie, heartbreaking theme, masterful plot and a sweet moral. Good News Constant Writer....GOOD NEWS - SEE IT -ALL aka Miles

I heard this on audio and really like the book. Haven't seen the movie the reader on the book is an really good at making Dolores come out as a real person and she even makes you feel like she is justified in her actions.

I love the movie, especially when Dolores gets her revenge, and I love the quote "Sometimes an accident can be an unhappy woman's best friend."

What I like best about Dolores is that she shared her eclipse with Gerald's wife. What i like 2nd best, is her ferocity in defending her daughter.. I'm jealous of her fortitude. She is my hero.

Hi there! I think you are a fabulous author! My dream is to write a book! Anyway...I never got a chance to read this book. I saw the movie with a friend and we loved it! Right now I found a book at a yard sale called "Four Past Midnight" which I'm reading now and can't put down! Your brilliant! Keep up the great work! Barb

I remember a preview of this film on TV and getting very excited. If you have read the book then be prepared for a large amount of the info to have been stripped from the movie, but still you are left with a very moving film and Kathy once again proves she and King go together.
