They of course are all first prints because there will never be a second printing! Cemetery Dance has put out several Stephen King books this way. They always make 52 lettered signed editions, 750 signed editions, and around 3000-5000 gift editions. There is no second run of these books. These books aren't priced for your casual collector. However, with this type of work I can appreciate the price.. There is a lot of work that goes into a graphic novel, even beyond the author. Chadbourne has to be paid as well and, it is after all a Limited Ed. and Collectors item.. I suppose if I had made an attempt to purchase this at it's release I may have had a chance.. I am however not going to give up on my search for one.. Thank You Stephen! Especially for The Dark Tower series it is a masterpiece.. I am a devout SK fan and have most of his books, why are there other books out of my reach (and price range)??? I priced Volumn 1 on line and the prices are outrageous, even on E-Bay!! I am still a devout fan but would like the opportunity to be able to buy SK's works, ALL OF THEM, before second volumns are released. More Thoughts » |
