This is probably my favorite short story by King. A great example of the theme "revenge is a dish best served cold." I immediately felt parallels with Edgar Allan Poe's story "The Cask of Amontillado." Very Powerful writing, definitely King's strength is the Short Story as he leaves no detail incomplete.
