It was a surprise to me when I finished the first 3 books to find out that there were many more to discover. I am a composer/producer of ambient, lounge and soundtrack music and after reading the Dark Tower I wanted to create an album which musically describes my personal journey through the Dark Tower series, maybe that project will come soon. During the half of the series something life altering happened to me, my father in law died of cancer to the pancreas and it happened at the exact moment one of my favorite characters dies as well. The way Stephen describes the process of losing a loved one is so realistic that I couldn't read any page without crying my eyes out, but it also helped me through a very tough and emotional period. I'd like to thank Mr. King for his ability to touch people with his writing in such a great and profound way. This series has inspired me to compose an album inspired by the adventures of the characters in the Dark Tower and it will be an album dedicated to my lost father in law. Thank you for sharing your gift of storytelling with us, I can only hope my musical interpretation will only come near your masterpiece.

As I got closer to the end, I was very very fearful that I would hate the ending. But I can say I like it a lot. I like it big-big.

***SPOILERS***

So I just started reading this book, and man, it is quite the trip! The book starts off where the last one starts off, with Jake and father Callahan goes into the Dixie Pig where they go to meet their destiny(or ka if it does ya say thankya'). Roland and Eddie travel on the wave of the beam, little baby Mordred is born, and the reader even learns more about little Oy.
