This was my second ''Bachman novel". the first one i read was Thinner, which i did not like as much as The Regulators. I live in a mid-west suburb, so I found this book especially scary. Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed because there are so many characters. I had to make a list of all the characters who live on Poplar Street, and briefly describe each one. That way, if I get confused, I can refer to the list. Now that the characters are more familiar to me, I am enjoying The Regulators so much.
