I listened to this as an audio book and was surprised it was so short! But it was GREAT. The guy who read it did a terrific job.

I have MS - dx in 2000, quit working and READING due to vision impairment (legally blind) in Jan 2010. I hadn't asked for (or thought of) asking for or buying a Kindle. As an avid reader with a deep love of books and all that they are, I've been heartbroken by my loss of reading. I broke down in tears as I opened this wonderful gift from my husband. I love it and am so impressed by it. I've recently even began playing Scrabble against AI (btw Art's a cheat, uses words not in the dictionary I downloaded, but alas his game - his rules, right? ). Seriously what a beautiful thing you have created. I got over my prejudice of books needing to be tangible and sitting displayed on a shelf in about 5 minutes, as when I looked up from what I was reading, I did that mental shake to come back to the physical world around me, leaving the story's world. I was hooked. I am 45 years old and due to my vision and other MS issues, am home alone every day. The Kindle gives me so much. Thank you P.S. UR by Stephen King was great fun. I will eventually, as $ allows, download all of his works -I love that he obviously appreciates this creation - how could he (the greatest writer in my world) not want to see it flourish? I intend to recreate my tangible library on my Kindle - the books/friends I love, no longer have to sit unopened on a shelf. YOU ROCK! :-)

Wait to listen to UR during a power out. Listening to Stephen King in the dark is the best!!!

I would LOVE to read "UR"....but, I have trouble reading for very long when I'm looking at a computer. I won't buy a Kindle for that reason, nor would I download a PDF file and go blind reading it on the computer. I'm bummed out.

You all have computers, apparently. Go to Amazon and download the free Kindle app for PC or Mac, then buy UR and read it. Voila!
