Does anyone else wathch this series?? I love it and I have read that Stephen likes it too and he gave ideas for one or some chapters, any idea of which ones??

I watch Lost, I'm not up to date with it though coz I just started borrowing the series off a friend a couple of months back, so I'm half way through season three but I LOVE it!

I could see King having an input on the whole Hurley plotline and the cursed lottery numbers. That's just a wild guess but it's sort of King-esque. Come to think of it quite a lot of qualities in Lost remind me of King, the premonitions and strange clouds of smoke attacking people.

Don't ask my to cite my sources because I can't remember, but the creators were very much influenced by King in general and the Stand in particular. When the Others have a book club and are discussing a King book (season 3, I think), that's a little nod to him.

New season is starting back up in January, I believe. I love lost and it doesn't surprise me that Stephen does and that he has had contributed ideas!

Love it! First show since Six Feet Under that I've been absolutely addicted to. As a general rule I avoid popular television like the plague, but I'm a BIG JJ Abrahms fan.

My friends and I have gone round and round about all the similarities, particularly to the DT series.

I have been a fan of Lost from the very beginning. Sawyer, the Southern con-man, is my favorite character on the show.

there have been a number of books shown in the series that ppl were reading. there are a few similiarites w. the dark tower series. the next season is supposed to show someone reading the stand and have some reference to it in some way w/ in the episodes.
