Cats or dogs?

I have always been a dog person, but I have owned many different cats in my life. Dogs seem to need you more than cats. They want to play more and be by you more of the time. Cats are very independent and only want to be pet when they decide they want to.

Cats for me. I like dogs but they need so much looking after and they stink when they get wet. Cats are much more independant and are able to keep themselves clean.

I love cats and dogs, but how about...a fish? They don't stink when they get wet. They don't crap on the floor. And they certainly don't need to go outside in the middle of the night.

I like all animals, but I prefer cats. Listening to the content purr of a cat is so relaxing. My cats have always been very affectionate with me and need my attention as much as any dog ... they're just not as obnoxious about it. I haven't had a dog in years and would love to get another one though.

I prefer dogs....cats are more of a mouse and snake killing tool at our place. I always like for the cats to scatter when I come walking up.
