I haven't read IT, or Pet Semetary. So I guess the scariest SK book I've read would be Cujo. Haven't been scared of many of his books though. And I do plan to read It and Pet Semetary

misery is the scariest and from a buick eight was not
For me the scariest so far was a tie between It. It still makes me shy away from clowns.
Least scary was The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
IT probably freaked me out the most and had the most lasting effects (clowns are just bad news in my books now), but I think that Pet Semetary is right up there, especially since becoming a mom to a little boy. I love the story, but I'm not sure I could read it again without having nightmares.![]()
I think for me so far the scariest has been Insomnia. I read it when I was a teenager and didnt sleep for weeks.
Least scary: Eyes of the Dragon.
For me it's a tie. I had thought The Stand scariest because I can imagine governments making a "super flu" and it getting released; then someone mentioned Cujo. Trapped in a car, on a hot day, by a rabid St. Bernard; again, a 'real life' situation. SCARY!
Ooops guess I didn't finish that one! I meant to say it was a tie between It and Bag of Bones.
Pet Sematary. No doubt about it.
I'd say pet semetary!
just the idea is terrifying i think, that's without even reading it!
it's written so beautifully as well
I would pick The Shining........didn't want to turn the page (several times)............but I did !!!!!!!!
