Thumbs up Eyes of the dragon*warning major spoilers ahead*

Just got threw reading Eyes of the dragon. Great book! Not too long. Sort of like a childs fairy tale. (Although I don't think I would read this to my kid before bed) lol. I love the artwork in it. Flagg is a magickal wizard in this wearing a long cowl robe carrying a wizards staff making poisions and killing people in the kingdom. Not wanting to Rule completletley but wanting to control whoever is the king at the time. The end was cool but I know Flagg always seems to "dissapear" at the end lol. Never seems to quite die. I do not think Flagg can be killed. Hmmm I think I will go to the Dark Tower books again. I have not read a couple of them. I am especially wanting to read the ones with Flagg in them. Which ones might that be? I know Wizard and Glass (excellent book) is one of them. Anyway I give this book 4 stars and 2 thumbs way up. I own the stand so I loved seeing flagg in this too. The crimson king aka R.F. also makes a small appearance In Insomnia but the form he takes makes me crack up! Hmmmm.. makes me wonder if flagg used his kid and a friend for characters in this story... who would be his inspiration for Flagg? muhahahaha

hmmm, i think you may be a little confused. it seems you are implying that Flagg is the Crimson King but that is not the case. he is an agent of the Crimson King but not the King himself. as to which DT books Flagg appears in, it depends on which persona you want to see him as. he is in almost every book, but not always as Flagg.

Did you read The Dark Tower books (the ones you've read) in order? I highly suggest that you do that, everything will seem a lot clearer. Also: The Crimson King is not Flagg, they are two entirely different characters.

I see you are wondering if Flagg can die; if you read all of the Dark Tower books, you will find out

I loved "Eyes of the Dragon" My 2 son's asked me forever to read one of my SK books. I kept telling them, when you get bigger you can. Then finally "Eyes of the Dragon" and "The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon" My boys loved them both. Thanks SK. My son's will be future "Constant Readers" LOL from our whole family!!!

I'm usually not a fan of fantasy books, but I really did enjoy this one. A different style then usual from King, but a welcomed one.

I just started The Eyes of The Dragon. It is one of the few Stephen King books that I haven't already read...

I am only on page 115, but I am thrilled so far!!! I had to force myself to put it down because Friday is errand day for me. But I know how my weekend will be spent now! Curling up on the sofa with Eyes of The Dragon...

I wish I would have discovered this one years ago. It's good to see Flagg again. That is one fascinating character...

I had taken a break from King's work to catch up on another series I am reading. I'd almost forgotten how different it is to pick up an SK novel... Sometimes reading is just reading. And other times (as with Sai King) it is more like gliding through a cloudless ski, or dancing in the rain...

"It" has always been my all-time favorite. But I have a sneaking suspicion that, after this weekend, "The Eyes of The Dragon" will slip into that Number 1 spot.

If you haven't read this treasure yet - please go find a copy today!!!!!!!!!

King just had a hankering to write a good ol' uncomplicatedly enjoyable fantasy tale.

I think he nailed it. Not too long, not too short. The porridge was the perfect temperature, and better yet, Goldilocks did more than just escape the bears.

    High art? No.

In the (evervariable) list of my 25 Favorites? Yes, and there for a while, I imagine.

Yes, but a DARK fairytale. And as for Flagg, I always liked him best in The Stand.
