Chocolate, ice cream, reading the SKMB, and meditation.
Rituals involving eating sweets, buying lots of Lottery tickets and beating the crap out of my pillow. But what works best is Prayer.
I retreat into a fiction book!!!It's really true.Oh yeah and a glass of wine at night.
Yoga and cigarettes. (I know, I know.)
I eat quick snack-type goodies. Like chips, pretzels, cookies, etc... I need instant gratification when I'm upset so I don't want anything that needs prepared in order to consume it. If possible, I sleep. Reading a good book also helps.
I'll have a couple of beers or glasses of wine just to take the edge off and wash the snacks down, but I usually do my heavy duty "let's get buzzed/wasted/crazy/pissed" drinking when I'm in a good mood. Go figure.
