Newcomers, Please Read...

new and still a bit lost. not as computer savvy as I would like to be. I wanted to post a message on the message board and kept getting lost. Sigh!I'll keep trying and hopefully become better at posting. hope to be able to discuss, stories books, etc with others who are avid readers. Moved to remote area in Alaska in Dec.2008. only way in or out is by plane or copter. Love it but it gets a bit lonely.

Welcome! You'll get the hang of it.

Take a few minutes to read through the FAQ as there is a lot of "how to" information there and don't be afraid to ask if you need help.

Hey what's up. I'm new, obviously, so I wasn't really sure where to start so I came here. It seemed like a good choice.

Well I came here because I have decided to begin reading Stephen King's books, in a random order I made up a couple months back. I've only read a few, but I'm getting there as I am a fast reader.

So i just wanted to drop in, read some stuff about the books, and just meet some fellow King Fans!

Hi folks,
I am in fact a newbie here, and I am having a wonderful time so far. I feel warmly welcomed, and was instanlty friended by JohnDalglish and Madammack for wich I am very greatful! I would love to send these people a word of gratitude for their hospitality but as of yet I have not figured out how to do that. I have been tremendously enjoying the querrying threads, and replied to a few of them (although I have not yet seen any of my postings......I am patient) I have had this sight in my "favorites" for a few years, and I cant believe I sign up until now! In any case I glad that I did, and I very much look forward to sharing thoughts and ideas with all of you. Any tips on using or navagating this site?

There is a wealth of information in the FAQ. Take a few minutes to read through it and if you still have any questions, there are many here who can help you.

I just want to say thanks to all of you. Well put and good form. I do feel very welcome.
You can all rest assured, even you MsSmeej, that your welcomes are appreciated. On a final note if anyone has any advice about posting or anything Stephen King, you know where I'll be! Thanks!!!!

If so , I'm from the Cape Cod area the weather is absolutely beautiful out side right now so this will be brief' as I am dying to get out side and do some metal detecting today.
