I can't even imagine where the book will go on to. To me Black House was such a perfect ending to the tale, and I just hope the 3rd one won't spoil it for me.

Peter and Steve are busy with their own projects at the moment so the third book has not yet been started and there's no date set for when they might begin.

I'm curious about that as well. I read that it'll be two years before King's schedule allows for work on the third instalment, so that means there must be other books coming down the line.

Now there was a book I simply could not finish. Don't know why, but I always died rounding the far turn and heading into the home stretch. Three times now.

Well, Black House is already pretty much grounded in the DT universe, so I think that it's inevitable that the 3rd instalment will be DT as well.
But you never know...

Personally, I hope Part 3 will see the convergence of The Territories/Mid-World and a meeting between Jack Sawyer and Roland.

Although that may just be wishful thinking on my part.
