I may be getting my PhD in Physics this july if the swine flu doesnt interfere( professor is old and who knows what may happen in another month of this madness). 13 years of school might finally pay off.

I had my son at 19 years old. Me and my boyfriend got married and now only two years later we have a really big nice house and a big property by the lake. We own our own car and my son will never want for anything. I am proud of myself because even though we are young and started with NOTHING, having our son has made us better people. i remember that cartoon, commander mcbragg! sorry, kitten, can't think of much else. i think he was on...don't remember...looney tunes?...tennessee tuxedo hour?...did tennessee have an hour?...bullwinkle and rocky? i'm thinking about buying a house...read that other post about a house...$9000.00...works out to less than $10/sq ft...lookin at houses...one on pewabic for $19,000...hardwood floors, stained glass windows...are ambitions worth bragging about?

I wrote this after thinking a bit about how Woody Guthrie used to write "This Machine Kills Fascists" on his guitars..
I didn't want my guitar to say anything at all about killing...Rather, it's more important to create and encourage people to create..

Congrats, Kitten, that's great, and I know just how hard it is for an adult to return to education. Well done!

Regarding the socks - I solved this many years ago by buying a lot of pairs of identical socks. I only ever have the obligatory one odd sock (he said smugly); it was the hell of attempting to match up the kids socks that drove me to this epiphany.
