Just got my Cemetary Dance copy of 'Stephen King: The Non-Fiction' on Friday and what a great book it is! I was even pleasantly surprised to see that my name appears in the 'Thanks' at the back of the book!! I had helped Justin Brooks with alittle research for his previous book about King from Cem Dance (which he also thanked me for at the back of that book) but didn't have anything to do with this particular book, so it was a surprise to see my name in this one. Either way, I'll take it!

So began my adventures into the wonderful world of fine book collecting! I blame it all on Donald Grant (may he rest in peace). I did get the chance to meet him in person and had him sign that particular edition of The Talisman and I told him it was all his fault that I was broke (from the book collecting) and he laughed and thanked me. He was a pretty darn nice guy.
I can't wait until I get it! It's going to be a six month process but I'm hoping to convince my dad to help out for Christmas and shoten the time! I'm SO excited. I've wanted this book for 22 years. I still remember EXACTLY where I was the first time I read the words "The man in black fled across the desert and the gunslinger followed." Now all I need is the first edition Wizard and Glass and my Dark Tower collection is complete!

Purchased a copy of Dolores Claiborne a few days ago. Have a few books I want to read before starting it. Looking forward to reading it, I always enjoy SK's female characters.

Ordered a copy of the paperback of A Book of Horrors, which has "The Little Green God of Agony" in it. I bought the Kindle version when it came out last year, but e-books aren't good enough when it comes to King stories!

I've been buying Kindle Singles, thanks to Stephen King.
I am one of those who doesn't like to miss a thing.
In Tall Grass or in The Crowd or at Mile 81...
'though my Kindle isn't pink, it's still a lot of fun.

They are inexpensive. You don't have to be well-heeled
To discover Hell resides at Tropicana Field.
I thought I'd read everything but, at the author's site,
I discovered my assumption simply wasn't right.

Turns out there are stories that I'd never heard about
Scattered here and there in magazines which, I don't doubt,
Sold some extra copies with their rights to Stephen's work.
    Can't believe I thought I'd read it all. I'm such a jerk.

If they'd ever sell them - as a single or a bunch -
Sales would top 10 million or I'll eat my hat for lunch.
Nothing like a scary story right before you sleep...
Stephen King has lots of fans and Kindle's books are cheap.

I bought "The Talisman" by Stephen King and Peter Straub, again, on an e reader (type of thing) as I don't have the physical book, here.

Think it might be time for a reread!

Hey there!!! I have not been to this forum for a while due to many commitments, but I wanted to say that I went to a used books sale this morning (Rotary Club annual book sale), along with my mom, my sis Dominique who was very sick a while ago and now doing very well, and my niece. We had a ball. I found an almost brand new copy of The Storm of the Centurey ( french version LA TEMPÊTE DU SIÈCLE ) hard cover and all. I got it for 4 bucks. But I didn't know that this book was written like if it were for a play. I saw the TV series, but never had the book before today. So I hope I can come back soon, but just wanted to post this. Take care all!!! Hello Marsha!!!!!
