My husband just got me the first serial novel of the Green Mile in first edition, which completes my Green Mile first edition collection. He also got me this cool audition thing of the Mist which has actors portraying each character. It's like a play in surround sound in your ears. I had never heard of it but it's pretty cool.

I found a copy of The Colorado Kid in a bargain store. I'd never heard of it and had to check and re-check to make sure it was THE SK. Haven't read it yet, but I thought it was a pretty good find.

Most recent purchases were Duma Key hardcover and Cell paperback. I would like very much to see Duma Key as a movie!!! Always love the characters. This would be a very good movie, characterwise and visually.

Ditto the yard sale. Desperation for a quarter. Previously couldn't make it past <spoiler alert, but an early one>

Mary seeing Pie dead on the steps in the cop house. [[The dead kids ones always upset me in an "ooh that's too real-world for me" kind of way until I tell my prissy soul to shutupandreadwillya.]] Have now reached David's grabbing the bullet from the floor.
