I got a copy of Tin House #40, which has King's poem "Mostly Old Men" in it.
His recent poems are pretty dadgum good; Ms. Mod, tell him we all said he needs to include them in his next collection so they can be appreciated by a wider audience!![]()

I just bought A Face in the Crowd and after payday, I'm going to get TWTTKH.
Sons of Anarchy Spoilers
Was at the goodwill today! Amazing buy. I found a hardcover Of The Green Mile screenplay for $2.99.
I did something I swore I would never do. I downloaded Kindle on my netbook. I should be ashamed, but I'm not. I downloaded Face in the Crowd and UR. I plan to do more.
Isn't it about the story itself, not the format that it is delivered in what is important? Personally, I've found I'm reading even more on my iPad (Kindle app) than I had been for a long while. Have found the dictionary feature to be a big plus. Had to laugh at myself as after having read several ebooks in a row, was reading a print book and without thinking about what I was doing, touched the page when I wanted to look up a word.Took me a second to realize what I'd done and then literally laughed out loud.

IT. The last time I read this book was the 80's, and I went looking for it last week, and couldn't find it on any of the bookshelves in the house. My old copy maybe hiding in a box in the attic. I probably want start IT until around Halloween, just by schedule, not planning on the extra spooky factor.
As usual you are quite right. My husband has been telling me the same thing for ages. I can be a bit of a luddite, however. It took me years to get over the loss of eight track tapes. I still miss the art work and liner notes on vinyal LPs. I took straight to DVR, though. I do love getting stories straight away and maybe santa will bring me a Kindle.
I downloaded A Face in the Crowd to my Kindle. And I gobbled it up ravenously!
It was delicious!
Long days and pleasant nights.
Hope this is okay, but I just listed in the SK wanted/available group a bunch of SK titles I had copies of and would like to find good homes for. I dont think many people are aware of the group and wanted to bring it back to everyone's attention.
