John Lee Hooker. He was a hell of a blues singer from way back to the end. He did songs with Bonnie Raite and Carlos Santanna. He was awsome and I still miss him. I cry every time I hear The Dream.

I grew up listening to John Lee Hooker with my Dad. He loved his music and it does not hurt that my father's name is John Lee. (I don't know if the was named for him or not though.)

Here's to hoping and praying that someday the researchers and scientists find a cure for this dreadful disease. We lost my husbands uncle to leukemia, the radiation/chemo is almost as bad as the disease itself.
