Default Favorite Song Usage in Stephen King Movie

There's lots of good songs used in key scenes of Stephen King's movies. What's your favorite and why?

Mine is "Bad to the Bone" in Christine (big surprise, huh James?). George's first few riffs capture the gleeful evil of the car. A close second for me is the agonizing scene in Pet Sematary where the trucker is barreling down the road towards Gage, singing along to the Ramones' "Sheena is a Punk Rocker."

"Don't Fear The Reaper" at the beginning of The Stand. Absolutely chilling and the prefect way to set the mood.

I don't know about being a favorite song, but the freakiest would have to be Karen Carpenter's "We've only just begun" from 1408.

Yeah Don't Fear the Reaper from the Stand was great, but my favorite would have to be In the Mood by Glenn Miller from The Shining miniseries.

Midnight, The Stars, And You by Ray Noble, used in the Kubrick/Nicholson Shining, always creeps me out. I like the song...but it's creepy just the same. I think the music in both (both score-wise and song-wise) was great & had the right ambience. The music in the Kubrick film is scary in itself. Gives me the chills.

Don't fear the reaper for me too!

But how 'bout ''born to have it all'' in ''Carrie''.Listen to the lyrics and think about her ability, and you'll have goosebumps!

Big hit also: sul'aria in Shawshank Redemption (when Andy plays that mozart-la nozze de figaro track)

And Apt Pupil: End credits: berlin

And the song playing in Kingdom Hospital when the writer(wotizname?) is jogging towards his accident! Like That very much!
