One of my all time favorite Bushisms.
"There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, fool me once, shame on — shame on you. Fool me, um... — you can't get fooled again." — George W. Bush - Nashville, Tenn., Sept. 17, 2002
The Battle of Termopylae resulted with Xerces and the emense Persian Army invading the defending King Leoniada of Sparta and his fierce well trained Spartans of few that held them off. It has become a symbol of courage against overwheming odds. Better known most recently as the plot of the movie 300.
Xerces asks Leoniada to join him by offering the kingship of all Greece. Leoniadas answers:
"If you had any knowledge of the nobel things of life, you would refrain from coveting other's possesions; but for me to die for Greece is better that to be the sole ruler over the people of my race."
Then Xerces asks Leoniada more forcefully to surrender arms. To this Leonidas gave his noted answer:
"Come and get them."
EVERYTHING YOU KNOW IS WRONG
Quote from the level of 'Marble Madness' called, Silly Race, in which gravity is backwards, you can smush your old enemies instead of them smushing you...
Hehe, I had to play it up to that level just to make sure the quote would be right. =0]
"Humanity is the greatest flaw of them all." Me, until I hear someone else said it first.
"Remember, the light at the end of the tunnel may be you. Goodnight!" Aerosmith
"My lifestyle determines my death style." Metallica
"God makes everthing right in the end." Stephen King short story I can't remember which.
"Fact isn't real." Again me, a topic to open minds to the idea of living in nothing but theories.

It was his favorite drink.
