My belated greetings! I didn't get to post here on Friday, but what I did do was tell people all day long about the great man's special day, the joy his existence has brought to many, the inspiration his work has yielded, how we have sunk into other worlds, met other folks, and dreamed other dreams as a result of his unique perspective.

My real-world best friend's birthday was Saturday and I brought her for a meal. We ate Mediterranean vegetables, raised a glass, scooped up cake and saluted the future. I like to think my talented Mid-world friend was there in spirit too.
