Anyway, I think this is a good place to leave a birthday message for him.
I just want to say that I celebrate his birthday because I'm so grateful that he, one day, left his planet to come to live among us. So we have the chance to enjoy his memories, those he so skillfully tells for us in books.

Mr. King, I guess one day before your birthday is close enough. I am wishing you a very Happy and Healthy Birthday. May you have many more to come. You are one of the few people ,outside my family and the few in my Ka-Tet that I will take time to wish a Happy Birthday to. You have given we "Constant Readers" so many wonderful timely gifts over the years ,and I have even lost count of how many times I was lucky enough to receive one of your hardcovers as a birthday or Christmas gift, over the years.
