So, i am about to start reading misery and i was wondering if there is anything i should know before i read it.

If you have seen the movie, try and get it out of your head. The movie is very good but there is much more to the book than is in the movie. Other than that, just start. Once you get into it a little ways, you'll have a hard time putting it down. I just finished a re-read and it was every bit as good as I remember it from the first time I read it.
