    Default My IT journey

Well last night I decided to pull IT out from under my bed. I figured that since it has spent 5yrs split between 2 different houses under the bed it was time give this one another go. I have tried numerous times to read IT but never seem to make it passed page 10 or so. The first section of the book where Georgie dies makes me nervous, queasy and gives me goose bumps and just generally makes me uncomfortable!

Many of the Constant Readers give this work raving reviews so it can't be that bad right? Wish me luck, I might just need it!

How cute that you store it under the bed! I think that would be the last place I would put something I was afraid of. Not criticizing, just curious...why is that a safe place?

IT is scary, but there is so much to it, you are missing out! I hope you can get through it this time!

well i find IT to be one of Stephen King's best. Most amazing thing to me, is that by the time IT was written, King was already a made man, and yet he still put out one of the longest books you will ever read, with on of the most complex stories written. A fan of King can only truly appreciate that he does that. You have to read IT at least once in your life

Before I read DT, IT was my favorite. As far as books not in a series, IT tops 'em all for me. It's a journey for sure...enjoy the ride, you'll be sad when it's over!

Good Luck with IT and Pennywise. I read it two years ago. Great long book.

I don't know why I chose under the bed, I think I was reading one night, got scared and fired it under there and forgot about it. I am hoping to be able to finish and have IT take its rightful place on my bookshelf!
