Thoughts others have on this book.

Hey guys,
Well today i decided to visit the local used book store to see if i could grab something to add to my collection. Well it turns out they had the green mile . This was the only king book but on the other side of the shelf were TONS of dean koontz books. I have always wanted to try him so a bought a pretty good copy (for about $3 in the US) of his book velocity. If any of you have read this book can you give me your opinion on it! I'm on skeleton crew now but after i'm done with it i may read this koontz book.

Koontz is my other "must read" novelist...different flavor, but I think you'll enjoy....

Koontz is a good author as well. I own two of his book. Forever odd and TickTock that is great BTW. I've read them both, plus few other Koontz book. Hope you enjoy his work too.

Thanks for the response. I've already read halfway through Velocity and it's going great. I'm sorry i had to put it down because i have to go out now!

IMO Koontz canbe very good or very bad. I would recommend Dark Rivers of the Heart and Lightning as two examples of very good. I'll leave very bad up to you.

I agree with doowop. Some of Koontz works are astonishing but others I am not so fond of.

I have always recommended "Intensity". IMO, one of his best. I just finished "77 Shadow Street", his newest. I thought it was excellent and would definitely put that on my recommend list. Happy reading!

Thanks! I saw a copy of the husband and watchers in the store so i think i'll go after those soon! Velocity was amazing and i'm now on the green mile!
