My wife just bought me a book entitled The Wit and Wisdom of Stephen King, and I thought I'd share the details. It's from a tiny publisher (Bear Manor?), and I've never heard of the author before (Andrew Raush), but it's a really neat book. It's a collection of quotations by Stephen on subjects ranging from fame to his novels. This is really one of my favorite King books that's not actually by King, because it consists solely of King's words. Anyway, I had never heard of it and figured most of you hadn't either. What a cool book. I wish I had thought of putting together something like this myself.
I found out it was available as a lend if oyu have amazon prime on the Kindle. Mine came with a free trail, and today being the last day-- I read it all last night. Excellent into SK's thoughts on so many subjects. Taken form interviews, talks, forwards, books. A nice look into politics, religion, publishers, family ( the fumiest parts where about his children ), his books, tours (oh you do feel for him), horror, being famous, his books versus the movies ( VERY interesting ).
