    Default Cell-audio version

Hi all this is my first post..

I typically listen to all the King books on audio format, which I load into my phone and enjoy while doing other things.

I recently listened to Cell and noticed certain sections of sentences stray from the narrator and are "filled in" by somone else with a lower voice.

This is the first instance of this I've noticed of this particular "sharing" of the narration and was wondering if anyone else had heard this?

Actually, what happened was that the reader had a cold during the recording and some sections were recorded at a later time so it sounds like it's a different person, but it was Campbell Scott who did the entire book.

Also noticed occasionally the audio quality changes/drops off in certain areas, but then returns..

    Thanks for the response!

....as a "voice talent" nothing is more irritating to me than fighting a cold or hoarseness...my voice is a tool and a gift from God(not being ego-overloaded, I've just always been thankful) and one I like to keep as genuine as possible...insert editing would be a handy device...as far as the audio quality? Hard to tell...so many variables there...original recording, dubs, post-production flub...etc.....

If you ever see it coming in a long bright colored Cadillac....RUN!!!

This post made me chuckle because I usually hear the AB's on X2 speed and I remember listening to the tone change and forgot about it on Cell.
