King letter to SKMB peeps

I wanna propose the idea Mr. King could do something special for
the people of this message board .
We deserve a special treat just for being the fans that we are.
We are not only fans , not only "constant readers" but..."constant chatters" .
He could do something JUST FOR US.

There is only one thing we would want... something new to read.

He could write a letter to US. It could be about anything , say like
Dr. Sleep or more about Guns...or anything (we wouldn't care about the topic)

He could address it to us, "Constant chatters" . He could mention some of us by
name. --(people with a 1000 posts or more, the backbones of this forum, this doesn't include me).

He could say which posts and ideas he
liked , or hated or... what-ever have you.

He could do this once a year , and promote what ever new item he
has going at the time!.
It would be a one page thing , this page would
lets us know King's out there: "Reading US back" ...so to speak .

One page, once a year.

Personally, I feel like he does this already by writing and releasing new stories every year. (I'm like you though, Tiny... I love his musings at the beginning and at the ends of his books.)

Yep. Membership is free and there are no annoying advertisements to wade through, too.

Tiny, we already know Mr. King "is out there" because of book releases, interviews with him that we listen to on TV or the radio, and communiqués from him to us via Ms. Mod.
I don't feel it's at all necessary for him to address us. Just because we happen to be members here doesn't make us superior to other SK fans elsewhere.

I made my post sound that way , on purpose...as a kind of joke. I dont really feel
like we are superior ...just much more 'talkative'

The SKMB is Stephen's gift to us- our little playground in the SK Universe. A place to play, have discussions, get the latest information, develop friendships.
There have been numerous times that SKMB members have been asked for their input/ opinions directly by SK.
Each and every book, article, interview is a gift to us. Do we desire more-- yes. Are we happy with what we get-- oh yes, indeed.
I follow the mantra of the SKMB-- patience, all good things come to those who wait.
