Default You know you have been reading too much DT when...(no spoilers)

I work with special needs kids who LOVE doing handprint and footprint art. I subscribe to several blogs and am on Pinterest where I routinely see fun crafts for kids with handprints and footprints....

I saw this and said: "OMG its a Lobstrosity!!!!!!!"

    LOL!!!!!

If that was a real lobstrocity, I don't see why it thought it needed Roland's fingers too :P

The first time I read that part, I was so upset. How could he be a gunslinger missing two fingers on his right hand? How was he going to adapt? How? How? I should have known better. He was Roland after all! I loved that line in Drawing of the Three when he heard the man in black inside his head suggesting that mayhap he should leave his dying body and just take over Eddie's body. He thought "I'm Roland and if dying is required, then I will die as Roland." Gotta love that guy!

And may you have twice the number.

Well if I was Roland, I would love to die as the brute of a Last Gunslinger!
Opposed to a wise cracking, ex addict. Not that I don't love Eddie, but he'd sort of be like the second son you had that made all the bad decisions and just started turning his life around.
