Did anyone feel cheated when...(spoiler alert)

I felt cheated about the whole Larry Having to die in Vegas . I mean He and Lucy, and Lucy having twins . I still wish it would have been Him in the ditch and not Stu. See, I always identify as a character in any book I read/movie I watch, to make it seem like it is more real than just a book. Usually I choose the characters that end up dying though.....sadly huh?

I am pretty used to my favorite characters dying , it makes the read more emotional and real for me.

Cheated - no, sad - yes! I was sad because I cared about him so much - and that is something King does so very well...makes us care!

It sucked that he (Larry) died, but I don't wish that it was anyone else. That was a part of his healing. what I mean is, he stopped being selfish. He became the man that he was supposed to be, even though it meant his death. Very heroic, really. For whatever reason, Stu (who was my favorite charcter) was chosen to live. Only God knows why.

On a side note, being an author myself, I doubt that even Sai King knows why Stu was the one to live. These things have a way of working themselves out.
