Rewo, he wasn't considering reading the end. He wanted one of us to tell him if Roland died in the end. Of course, none of us would ever do that!

And may you have twice the number.

Ummmm... no? If you read my first post my question was "Does Roland die?" I'm pretty sure that doesn't constitute the whole ending. 1) It doesn't explain HOW he died, 2) It doesn't explain the fate of anything else.

NOWHERE EVER did I say that I just wanted to butcher the book and skip to the ending. Just to make that clear.

Stan, cry your pardon....it appears that I got confused earlier on, then added to the confusion, now it looks like I might have even offended you....NOT my intention. I was trying to be funny (emphasis on funny). I will now refrain from adding to the confusion by leaving this thread...

Once we finished the sixth we had to make a pact that we'd start the seventh together and reach the Tower (hopefully) at the same time.

He is currently reading Horns by Joe Hill (Sai king's son) and I just re-read The Gunslinger and am re-reading The Cold Moon (Sai Deaver)
You mean you can't proceed in your reading of The Dark Tower because you made a pact with someone whom you may have (should have!) already known was a slowwwww reader? All I can say is I don't make a pact with anybody who's slower than me.
