And Ghost, I remember cassettes too. Does anyone remember 8 tracks?( my first radio that my mom gave me as a teenager had an 8 track. she got a new one and stuck me with that!)

Oh yeah, I remember 8 tracks, definitely. I remember listening to the Rolling Stones "Waiting on a friend" over and over and over, loved that song for some reason as a kid. The world has moved on....lol

Start with any album. All are good.
I'd probably recommend Moving Pictures for you first though, seeing as you were attracted to Limelight. Presto and 2112 were my first Rush albums.

@fljoe0 Most of us, sadly, don't have good taste. As I stated in my topic paragraph. Most of my peers are into all that rap/pop talentless "music".

I’m a fan of many of the "older" rock bands, including Rush. I watched a documentary on them recently, and Neil Peart’s tragic story was by far the most interesting. Some day I plan on reading his book Ghost Rider: Travels on the Healing Road . Also remarkable was the camaraderie between the bandmates, and how they shield Peart from the toils of the tour process.

Hi, Stan; I can't say I know that much about Rush but my husband is a fan. He turned our kid onto them so he's another teenager with good musical taste. Now if I could only get them both to read Sai King, I would be a happy camper. Welcome to board and keep on posting. This is a great place to hang out.
