soooo.. who wants to know more about perse? (potential spoilers)

i finished this book just earlier today, and besides having a hard time getting through the first 100 pages it was pretty darn amazing after i finally found my "flow". mind you, i had finished 11/22/63 one day before starting duma key, so... yeah. if you read it, you might be able to imagine why i had such a hard time with this one at first. haha.

anyway, i think duma key is great, but i wish there was a teeny bit more info on perse. where exactly she came from and such. yes, SK hinted towards where she came from, but i just don't like too much of the story being left to imagined. i liked the line where that creepy sentence snuck into edgar's head, something about the ship having sailed long before he can even imagine - i can't remember the exact line at all.. how fitting. but i honestly wished he WOULD have gone into detail and such.

i also thought it was sad that wireman just drops dead from a heart attack. really, stephen? . i mean, it is fine, but it left me feeling so.. unsatisfied. i don't know, maybe i just like being everything over-explained and such.

...as he always does, he holds up a mirror to our reality...sometimes nice folks have cardiacs ...as far as Perse...he gave us just enough for our own imaginations to scare the bejeezus out of us...

If that book would have went on for another 1000 pages, I would have been very happy. What a book, would love to know more about Perse.....
