I am happy today because...part II

I am happy today because I started reading every day again, and during the weekend I have read about 70 pages of Gerald's Game. I missed reading in my life so much, when I did not have time for that at all, but now I understand that it is what makes me real happy.

I'am happy today because....I was in the used book store (Goodwill) looking for a book to buy when I noticed a hard copy of Under the Dome.I picked it up and was intrigued, the dust cover consisted of an illustration only,no title or author.Just a picture of Chester's Mill,Maine. I didn't know what to make of it.Then I noticed the regular retail price, Can.$95 and US. $75. I flipped a couple of pages and read "This Scribner collector's edition November 2009".I smiled from ear to ear! and bought it for $3.99!

Holy Crap!!! What a lucky find! That makes me happy too.

I am happy today because I bought an electric kalimba this weekend and I can play Moon River. And I got out in my kayak and kicked back, listened to Wolf Hall on audio with my Eeyore umbrella and my legs dangling in the water and my iced tea and I just drifted along. It was spectacular.

I am all sorts of awesomeness with my Kalimba-- rocking the casbah and my backyard (and the front yard and my bedroom and the living room) -- aaahhh, life is good. It would have sounded really awesome out on the lake, that echo, but I didn't want to ruin it my getting it wet because, yes, I would have dropped it.

The pain from the burns on my head is starting to ease up more. I've got a sore, crispy coated scalp, but I can think easier now and don't feel like I'm going to black out anymore. Woohoo. I can't wait for things to heal all the way. It's approaching the itch stage and now I have to be so damn careful not to scratch.

Iam happy today as Iam out of bed and feel good about everything in general today. Got up on the right side of the bed for a change.Yay!

I am happy today because I am off from work today and tomorrow and because my internet is
working again. It hasn't work well in three weeks, all the time when I was here on SKMB it suddenly
could let me know that the net wasn't on. Today a man came and fix it and now it running again.

We had a super-cool weekend celebrating Suzana`s fourth b-day.
How time flies, seems like yesterday to me when I posted the picture of her in my arms, she was maybe a couple hours old then.

Also, I`ve lost 18.5 kg = 40.7 lb in 4 months and 18 days. So it CAN be done.
Another 12 kg = 26 pounds till New years and I`ll be self proclaimed King Of The World.
