I am happy today because I have to prune and fertilize the roses. I have no idea why this makes me happy and have chosen not to object to not knowing. Unless I can't find the pruning shears, because then I'll be torn between being happy to have to work and happy not to. Or the fertilizer. Or the roses themselves.

I am happy today because it's my daughter's birthday...The cupcakes have been sent to school, the chores are done, and there is a bike sitting in the living room! Perfect hot pink mountain bike that she hopefully, will love. Hubby will be picking up a second bike after work for our other daughter. Their birthdays are 2 years and 18 days apart....( March 31'st for Katie who will be 10) They always like to celebrate together....Double for me to buy all at once, but easier for family to attend one party. So, it works out pretty good. Happy Happy Happy Birthday Wishes going out to Catina's Mom!!!!!!
