I am happy that the sun is out today! It's been ridiculously not winter here in da mitten and lately it's just been gray and cold and windy. But today the sun is out and I had to turn the heat off! Hell if we aren't going to have snow we might as well have sun!

I am happy today because I gave myself permission to take a sick day to take care of myself instead of going to work to deal with whatever has piled on my desk since yesterday. This is a luxury I could get used to! I spent time here, drank tea and took a nap - splendid
