I am happy today because...part II

I'm enjoyin' my weekend and I managed to finish a short story.

Happy because the sun is out, the ground is drying out and there is no wet stuff falling form the sky!

I am happy today because I still have my Bo, my dog who a few weeks ago was diagnosed with terminal bladder cancer. He's quite energetic, has a good appetite (even eating some of his dry food now!), and seems not to be suffering in any way which I can detect. (I have pain meds for him, as needed.) I am happy that he loves to go outside with me when I grill, and so to be able to provide him a pleasure so simply. I am happy not to take him for granted, which I safely assume is a lesson for me to learn about all my loved ones.

I'm happy today because I have the SKMB to keep me company while I work this garage sale.

I'm also happy that people are coming to my garage sale.

And we'll always be here for you, Carrie!!

I have a Boxer. Have you ever seen a Boxer's lips? They can hold a days worth of water and make for some pretty messy kisses!

I am happy because Linkin Park's new album dropped yesterday, and I bought the first copy on the shelf. It is great.
