I am happy today...pardon me, ECSTATIC today because I just got a call saying my son got a spot at the montessori magnet school in West Hartford!!!!!!!!!! HOORRAAAAAYYYY!!!!! I didn't think he would get picked for the lottery and he did! I'm so stoked, it's an amazing school and it's FREE! And any other children we have will be grandfathered in.
I started crying when I got the message, I was so happy. It confused my son who then started crying, too!
oh, Happy DAY!!

I'm over the moon! It's only through 8th grade for now, but in two years they expect to have the high school finished. This has been on my mind for the past 6 months and I feel like I'll be able to sleep better tonight!

I am happy because there are only 40 pages left of White (the 3rd out of 4 novels in the Circle series!!)
It is always exciting to be close to finishing a book... especially one this GREAT, and of this magnitude!!

I'm happy today because I got in my car (even though it's in a garage now it's still roasting inside with this 80+ degree weather) and by the time I was on the next road I felt cold air on my feet. COLD AIR!!! I got a new (used but new to me) car in November so I haven't had to use anything but heat. But the car that I had for 6 years never had AC. I was in an Atlanta summer with it, and Michigan summers are no joke either. Plus I put thousands of dollars into that AC and it would never work. I always had to have the windows down and even at 80 mph it wouldn't help sometimes.
I almost got teary when I felt it. Ugh...so happy.
