I am happy today because a kid was so happy to see me last night at work that I ended up with a full, body-slam hug. She came running at me and boy, am I ever ALSO happy I'm a strong chick. Immovable object won. A hug like that would flatten most people. Wow. Kind of nice to be loved, huh?

I am happy today because I'm reading the Dark Tower again, I found out a personal fact about sai King (his love of tea! me too!)
I took my daughter and her best friend to the store and let them pick out a toy, my personal stock-pile of cancer sticks and dr. pepper is complete and in general, life is good.

I'm happy because I have a really good shot at a freelance embroidery designing gig. I do artwork in my free time.
The best part of it is that the job is with my ex husband's top competitor.....
The ex decided that I didn't need to do the art for his company after Christmas this year.... I sent emails to his 3 competitors, and two of them are interested.
