Default So Which Stephen King Audiobooks are best & why?.

As I've just started getting into the written works of Stephen King, Could any of you recommend some audiobooks to listen to when I'm going to work and back?. I've heard "The Mist" audioplay, and thought it was wonderfu,l really felt I was there. Any reader's that are better than others?. Many thanks.

The DT seriers (where I started).
IT - Hated when that finished
Under the Dome - Also hated when it finished.
Bag of Bones - Sai King reading it was a treat.

Those are the most memerable. With my work commute, I have "read" lots of Senor King and not one did I think it was sub-par. My list are just those that popped out.

Bah!....Now I want to listen to the DT series again. Can't wait for The Stand....Can't Wait!!!

Go to Audible.com for a good selection and decent price for the downloads.
Which ones are best? I like to get my money's worth, so would recommend It and Needful Things if you have a long commute. The Stand comes out in downloadable audio next month. Heck, any of King's stuff is good in audio as well as printed. Salem's Lot, the Shining, DT. I didn't know that King reads Bag of Bones so will have to check it out.

For me, the ultimate Stephen King audiobook is Dolores Claiborne, read by Francis Sternhagen. Sternhagen IS Dolores!

Dark Tower series. Started mine with cassette and then CD's. Bag of Bones is another good one. Frank Muller is a stand out reader, as is Sai King himself.

Frank Muller set the bar so high for me.

Steven Weber is excellent in IT.

Raul Esparza in UtD is good too. Till this day I always have his Big Jim voice floating around in my head.

For me though, the reader is just icing on the cake if he/she (Sissy Spacek in Carrie is good too) is good. The story always makes up for any minor annoyances. I've never felt the urge to turn off a book due to the reader and I've read/listen to a lot of them.
