I've just finished IT. I'm currently working on Rise of Nine in the Lorien Legacies series. Up next is Misery or Salem's Lot.

I am reading City of Ashes.

And yes. I am a twelve year old girl, thank you very much.

I've never read that, but I don't really care about labels. A good story is a good story, innit, whether it's YA or children's lit or whatever? Right now I'm reading a nonfiction book, though, called The First 20 Minutes: Surprising Science Reveals How We Can: Exercise Better, Train Smarter, Live Longer. It's pretty interesting, actually.

I'm reading "Life is Elsewhere" by Milan Kundera because I loved "The Unbearable Lightness of Being." I always feel like a cheater when I read a book which has been translated to English, but unfortunately I don't speak Czech. A quote I like, borrowed from the Czech revolutionaries, "Be realists - demand the impossible."

Just read 'The Circle' by Bentley Little- it was part of one of the Grab Bag deals from Cemetary Dance. Pretty good story!

Yeah, it's YA. The writing is a little immature for my taste but I do like the story. I read the first on - City of Bones - because a movie is coming out and I hate seeing a movie without reading a book first. And I liked it so I have four more to read!

Got a nice hardback copy of 'Hanging On' by Dean Koontz a few days ago and started it yesterday. It's an old book, written way back in 1973 and has to do with World War II (it's a comedy, believe it or not!!) and I have no fear that no exceptionally gifted Golden Retrievers are going to show up anywhere in this story!!
