Picked up Bones are Forever by Kathy Reichs yesterday from the library. Temperence is called to an abandoned apartment where she finds a newly delivered dead baby in the vanity, a baby that had been delivered a year before behind the window seat and a mummifed baby in the air duct in the closet.

Finished The Orchardist over the weekend. I'm not sure how I feel about it. It was well written, and I never felt bored or like I didn't want to read it, but the story was so sad. There was a thread of family and sacrifice running through it, but it wasn't a very happy story.

Went back to Dracula, should finish it today or tomorrow. Then on to The Twelve!

I cancelled the hardcover copy of "The Twelve" I had ordered from Amazon last night, and then downloaded the Kindle version instead. I'm 25% of the way through, it's a great read so far.

I'm currently reading 'Dog is My Co-Pilot'. It's a bunch of short stories from authors about their dogs. Should be a quick read but it's taking me forever cuz I don't have the will power most nights to turn the TV off and pick up the book!

I'm currently enjoying Conn Iggulden's "Bones of the Hills". One of the epic trilogy of novels about Genghis Khan's life. It is fast paced and the attention to detail is magnificent. I highly recommend them, the others being "Wolf of the Plains" & "Lords of the Bow"
