Four Legs in the Morning by Norman Prentiss. Three short stories in one , free on Kindle. Must say it was an interesting read. Must look into his other works.

Just finished the Stand, which seemed to take longer than I expected... and I quit reading the Alchemyst half way through. The Alchemyst had a fun premise and I thought it had promise, but I found that I preferred to do anything but read it, so off it goes. Now I'm cracking open a copy of the Library of America's Mark Twain "the Gilded Age and Later Novels" while I wait for the library to get "the Drawing of Three" in for me. Can never go wrong with Twain and Dickens.

    Dana Jean,
Thanks for the idea of checking on an inter-library loan; I'll give that a try. I checked a used book store on my trip, but no luck there. Anyway, will keep looking and see what I can locate.

But, I do believe that the church left her feeling very unstable and confused.

The 27th wife was very hard to find in my area of the country. Let's just say, a hotbed of Mormonism. Maybe your local library can find a library that will allow you to check it out through an interlibrary loan? I appreciate you taking my suggestion seriously and seeking out the book.

The Drawing of the Three is my favorite DT Book. I zipped right through that one. Left me foolish as hell --I needed my next DT installment, badly. I tell you man, I was sick and speaking in DT tongues!

By the time you're done you will feel like a hunter and I found that I truly appreciated everything I have even more.
