If you think it might be an issue,call the police and have them standby while you are moving..they can't be there all day,but if you know when he is going to be out for a while,but want them to be security,I am sure they will respond..I know what you mean about the shelter issue with animals,I have a relative who needed that and they had cats as a "security blanket" or other type term for it.I am not an animal hater,love cats and dogs and most other things,but she has allergies to cat dander and left within a day,it was just too overpowering..hope if anyone with control over these residences reads this,they will recognize that real problem..Lady, be well,take the advice from the DV people and the police trying to get you out..it will be better,promise..mjs

if you have to just get out..things are just things,remember,and replaceable in life.Easy for folks to say,harder to do..but you being well and not abused is the most important so leave asap,sounds like..
