Aww Johanna, back pain is awful, I really hope you feel better soon. I wonder if you get a cute male masseur??

CR1973; that is awesome you met The King. Did you speak to him? I'd love a signed King book, purely for selfish reasons. Ms Mod, once again, please remind Stevo about my tea and crumpets offer over on this side of the Pond...I know that will be enough to tempt him here.

    Yes, I never give up...annoying aren't I??

Anyhoo, hope y'all have a groovy week ahead--I'm in my hippie~chick phase--ooh, which reminds me, I bought some awesome flared jeans last week. Damn, I look cool in them. Haha, I'm outta here before I get kicked out! Stay good peeps.

I'm pretty sure Muskie enjoys spanking, so you may want to take advantage of his expertise?

Yes, Ally, I certainly did! I told him thank you for Lisey's Story and that I loved it, at which time he reached across the table to squeeze my hand! I also told him hi from everyone here and on the SKC on facebook. I was worried I'd be all tongue-tied and nervous, but I surprised myself. It probably helps that he really just comes across as a regular guy, blue jeans and all.

Everything is good here, except my washing machine is leaking water now. Think it is the pump, so we have one coming, but my FIL said it was a waste of time and money to do that, because every time he has done that it has burned up the motor or something else goes catastrophically wrong. I don't know, but I think we have to try it...still paying on the new refrigerator, so just replacing the washing machine is not really an option. I tell you, I've had it with replacing appliances.

Jojo, I hope your back gets to feeling better soon, hope the chiropractor can help! Sending healing vibes!

Sending big hugs to everyone, have a wonderful day!
Johanna, I am sending you healing vibes..may your back feel better soon.
Cat, My oven bit the dust Sunday......poor thing was only two!! Hubby was going to order a new heating element for it( which would take who knows how long)
and fix it himself. We ended up going to Lowes and buying one from the scratch and dent aisle....For less than it was going to take him to fix the old one!! Do you have a Lowes or a home Depot near you? Perhaps this could be an option? This is a brand new Frigidaire and darned if I can find a scratch on it. Wishing you luck and sending you calming vibes...... I know what a pain non working appliances can be. We've recently replaced the stove, dryer, and sweeper....ugh no more. Good luck to you

Aww that's really cool, I'm happy you now have that memory of him. When I met him at the FDNS signing I was the same way, thought I wouldn't dare speak to him, but he was lovely and very approachable. A genuinely nice guy!
