The New Ka-Tet Cantina

So far my Friday is not going good! I was supposed to have a well deserved night out this evening, and now it's been cancelled.

Before I knew this I went to buy a new dress in my favourite shop, only to discover it has closed down, with no warning!! I like original clothes, so this has really bummed me out. And ten minutes ago I just broke the heel on my favourite boots, through sheer clumsiness, and unfortunately it is definitely unfixable so the boots are now in the rubbish bin!
Bah humbug...is it too early for me to start drinking??

Ah well, hope everyone else has a better day than me.

I'm miserable. Really. I pretty much hate myself and my life right now, and that's an awful thing to admit. But maybe admitting that will be the first step in me moving forward? I hope so.

Hey, Ally, better than having to spend $1400 to replace a stupid seal on the engine of your car, eh? Don't get me started........... This is after I've already spent $800 on other things for it. Don't get me started...........I hope your day goes better than it has. I wish everyone a fantastic weekend!!!

Hey guys, I need to add something about my earlier comment before I step out of the thread so I don't start bringing people down. My post seems to be coming over as very shallow, as if I hate my life because I'm having a sucky day. Which isn't true...the sucky day is irrelevant to how I'm feeling about myself/life right now. However, I appreciate this wasn't the place to post how I am feeling, so I apologise to those who have "real" problems that they are contending with. No more whining from me.

We are Ka-Tet, and self does matter. If there are issues about how you are feeling about yourself and you need to vent, do so. There is a saying:When you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.. It does work. Sending serenity to your life.

I don't know, I think this is the perfect place for your post. A place of rest, but occasionaly a place to vent in order to get that rest. And regardless of what others are going through, the hell that you're in personally is a real enough hell for you, and is just as bad as it needs to be to make you feel like crap. (Did that make sense?) Anyways, maybe now you feel better? All that matters.

And a big bad mad world it is . . .
