Happy Monday All! Hope you had a great weekend! I'm not in a very good mood right now, just found out that UPS mis-delivered a package from Brodart supplies, dustjackets for my books, and I have the correct address on my order form, so I know it wasn't my fault! This on the heels of the USPS mis-delivering my copy of One For The Road, the limited edition book of the SK short story, it was sent delivery confirmation and insured, but it's lost and the USPS says it was delivered so they won't re-imburse me. Well, yes, it was delivered but was put in the wrong box here where our mail is delivered. I share one large metal container that has individual locked boxes for my neighbors and myself and the mailman put it in someone elses box and that person was dishonest enough to not bring it to me. Plus, I just read in another post where a new member just insulted all of us members and that just set me off. Not happy. Sorry for the ranting, I will get over it. On to better things- did everyone like the Super Bowl outcome and did you like Madonna's half-time show? I thought it was alright (Madonna, not the game). I thought for sure she would have a 'wardrobe malfunction...........' I did enjoy seeing all of the other people she had come and help her out like Ceelo Green and LMFAO and Niki what-ever-her-last-name-is.

Good morning? No, afternoon. How is everyone?

I was overcome with an insane urge to clean over the last few days, and I've been digging out messes left and right. Weird, but I'm just going to ride this wave as long as it's here!

I need to find a new home for my birds. They're 3 cockatiels, (OK, that has the squiggly red line under it, so when I checked for the proper spelling it told me "cockatrices." Yeah, I keep 3 cockatrices in my home, doesn't everyone? Moving on...) and they're little sweethearts. But MAN are they LOUD!!!!!! So, every time I try to give them away, I don't get any takers because I tell people that they shriek all the time and you can't shut them up. I truly believe they're happy, we feed them and let them fly and keep their cage nice and stocked with toys, I think they just have developed a habit of screaming at the top of their lungs. Or maybe they're deaf and don't realize how loud they are? The end result is the same.

So, it usually goes like this. "Oh, you like birds? I'm trying to find a new home for our cockatiels (not cockatrices), mostly because they're INSANELY LOUD and they're making me lose my mind! Oh, you're not interested? Well, if you change your mind let me know..."

How do I find them a new home when I feel too guilty to dump a flock of shrieking birds on someone's doorstep without telling them? Since they've always been this way, I'm pretty sure that's why the people who had them before me got rid of them, and I TOTALLY wouldn't have taken them if they told me the whole story...

Happy Tuesday, everyone. It's spring-like here, too. But I've been sick so can't go out and enjoy it.

Super Bowl was good. I didn't have a dog in the race so was just happy with a good game. I watched some of the Puppy Bowl, Spidey. Madonna's half-time show was meh, IMO. Lip-synched and mediocre. But I saw where some looney thinks it was a huge satanic ritual. Oy!

Good Tuesday to all. It's 63F with 100% humidity. Yep, that fog is dripping dew drops all over. Setting records again for warmth.
Jojo, hope you are feeling better- Take care of that back.

JoJo, I feel your pain. It's awful being down in the back in any way, and right now i'm right along with you. Can't hardly walk, can't do much of anything and I have no idea what's wrong. Hope you get better soon.

Good morning!

We got a little snow yesterday afternoon/last night, but still haven't seen a lot of accumulation at one time. I've promised Spidey we would make her a snowman...just haven't had enough to do that yet!

Should be a fairly laid back day today, I will have some coffee and catch up a bit. Have a good one!!
