Yeah, Mookie, I'm with you on the 'boring' thing. To me, there's nothing more boring than watching someone fish or golf. Nothing. I'd rather have all of my teeth pulled. By the way, the pics you've been sharing with us are great! There's some talent going on there, I'd say!

Well I'm not too happy today now. I'm staying in student accommodation while I'm in Portugal, and I had a room all to meself. Anyway, a Spanish student started on the ward today and I was trying to be friendly and chatting with her, which was like pulling teeth!! She's very stand~offish and not just with me being English either, she was that way with the Portuguese nurses. Anyhoo, I told her about the student accommodation being okay to stay in since it's close to the hospital, and cheap. So, now she's moved up here and they've put her in my room!! Why do I always have to open me big mouth? Bah humbug!

Hey, Ally, I'm sorry but your post made me chuckle. But, that's because my life is ruled by irony. What happened to you is exactly what would've happened to me!! On the bright side, maybe this 'stand offish' woman will end up being a very good friend? (this is where the irony would again come into play. Maybe she's a big King fan, ya never know??) Good luck, either way. Be cool!

Aww now I feel awful and bitchy. The poor wee girl has just been crying, I guess she's homesick and some people find it hard being in a foreign country alone. Damn I hate myself right now, I'm a horrid person.

I've let her know I'm here if she needs me, and she seems a bit better. Maybe we were meant to meet, and she was supposed to come and stay here so I could help her? I dunno, but I'll try.

(((((Cold people everywhere)))))---those subzero temps are dangerous; I remember from growing up in Nebraska. If you're going out, keep a scarf over your nose or mouth so you don't breathe the air into your lungs without warming it first.

Mookie--loved the photo of the cold, rushing river. Look forward to seeing more from your talented daughters.

Busy here, but it makes the day fly by. Hot cider and a cruller, please.

Thank you all for the compliments......I will pass them along. It's kinda the SKMB that got my daughters interested in taking pictures. I have always shared the " Kittens again thread with both of them. Both of them said.. I want to do that!! Which has progressed to nature pictures...and well sorta this, it just needs a caption.

Mookie- Your daughter is incredibly talented! I think only through the eyes of a child can the true beauty of nature be captured.
The colors in that sunset picture are out of this world.

Oh my goodness...those pictures of the dog in the sweater are so cute!

Here are some pictures of my daughter trying to put the dress off her Rapunzel doll onto one of the cats...they are a little blurry because she had her hands full trying to get him to sit still! He looks very agitated in the picture, but to his credit he took it...he never scratched her one bit.
