I know, first thing I thought of was a big ole wizard whipping up the storm with his wand.
It's weird to me, that they are naming winter storms now. I guess it is to make people sit up and pay attention, but I think most people do anyway. Maybe the bitter cold will kill some of the germs floating around, though.
Want to wish everyone a great Thursday!
Hold you in my thoughts and prayers Rebecca. (((Ace and Rebecca)))![]()
Please be safe from the storm Tina. Here in Finland we also have names for all big storms.
Has not snow since yesterday or maybe it was day before that. umm.... can't remember. And
not very cold either. Temps has been around -1C and zero these last weeks.
Take good care friends. Please stay well too. Cold and flu around now.
((all in need or not))
((all critters too))
((our Ma-Tet))
Thank you everyone for the thoughts and prayers. I appreciate them so much. It is such a loss. May all of my Tet-Mates be safe, warm, and happy, with healthy critters.
I ran across this article (?) about the problems of naming winter storms.

I never thought of that. Thanks Weather Channel. I'm surprised the insurance companies don't name them themselves.
I think that the naming of storms needs a little spark. We should have themes every year like one year could be Flintstone characters. The storms that year could be Betty, Wilma, Barney, Fred, Dino, Bam Bam, etc.
